Midlothian Innovation Centre
This centre in rural Midlothian, but only a short distance south of Edinburgh, has been developed jointly by New Park and Midlothian Council and provides a wide range of business accommodation for small to medium sized companies. There are around sixty companies on site, with staff numbers ranging from 1 to 20. The Centre has developed a supportive ‘Business Village’ environment and offers a wide variety of business space and support services.
Business units available include two large multi occupancy office blocks, combined workshop/office units and individual workshops. There is considerable scope for expansion on site and further development is planned.
New Park itself facilitates the Centre management and as usual brings its unique blend of business skills to support tenants and attract new ones. There is ready access to a wide range of business support services plus central facilities such as conference and meetings rooms, staff refectory and photocopying and mail handling.
