New Park is delighted to confirm its support of Buccleuch Property in their recent purchase of Scottish Enterprise's interest in Aberdeen Science & Energy Park and the Aberdeen Science & Technology Park for around £14 million.
A newly formed joint-venture partnership between, Scottish Enterprise and Buccleuch Property, will help transform nearly 155,000 sq ft of multi-let space within the two Science and Energy Parks. The joint venture will also deliver a number of key investment projects over the next five years including a second phase of the Energy Development Centre and a Hub building providing much-needed central facilities.
The Science Parks extend to over 70 hectares across the two prominent locations and are home to around 120 companies employing 2,500 people in a range of incubator accommodation, larger office space and workshops. These two Parks now bring to seven the total owned and managed by New Park throughout Scotland.
